Like a lot of smaller companies, simple 'off the shelf' software products are perfect for the every day running of a business, until that business wants to grow and expand. A lot of existing software isn't flexible enough, is too costly or at the other end of the scale, can be too complicated for your needs!
Orangements came to us as a fast growing business, who knew that their existing systems needed to be updated to allow for expansion and to remain future proof.
They wanted a central point to organise the company, so that everyone could see the same information. They also wanted to allow staff outside the main office to log in and use the same system.
Orangements realised that there were numerous software tools that could potentially save the business a lot of time and effort.
We listened to all of their needs, made suggestions and considered future requirements - resulting in us developing the 'Orangements Core System', a bespoke system of software tailor made to suit their business.
The 'Orangements Core System' is Windows based software which each member of staff uses daily. The central database is located on a web server, allowing the staff to log in anywhere in the world with internet access.
Technologies used:
Microsoft .NET Framework for Windows Software and Web Services, XML, MySQL database
